Apple Gourd & Chicken Recipe
Introduction:
Apple
Gourd is a big tasty food that people usually prefer to eat at lunch time. This
recipe should be eaten with wheat bread.
Items
and Quantity:
Apple
Gourd 1 KG, Chicken ½ KG, Onion 3, Ginger and garlic paste 3 tea spoon, Red
tomato 3, Cooking oil ½ to 1 ½ Cup, Red Chilli Powder 1 tea spoon, Salt ½ tea
spoon, Turmeric ¼ tea spoon, Green chilli 3 to 4, Proven cumin ½ tea spoon, Black
pepper powder ¼ tea spoon, Meat spice 1 tea spoon, Water ½ cup, Green Coriander
(Based on necessity).
Composition:
Step
1:
First
of all, wash the apple gourd, chicken, onion, ginger, garlic, tomato, green
chili and green coriander two or three times in clean and open water and then
cut them as needed and keep them in separate pots.

Now
place the cooking pane on the stove and add half to one cup of cooking oil in
it and cut three small onions and put them in the cooking oil and soften them.
After cooking for two minutes, add three spoons of fresh ginger garlic paste
and after stirring for a while, add three small sized fresh red tomatoes. After
adding the chopped tomatoes, mix them well and let them cook for one to two
minutes. Now add one spoon of red chilli powder, half spoon of salt and one
quarter spoon of turmeric powder to this recipe. Mix all these spices, onion,
ginger and tomato well and cook well for two to three minutes.
Step
3:
When
all these items are cooked well, now add half Kg of chicken to it, mix it and
fry it in spices for five to six minutes. After roasting the meat, add three to
four chopped green chillies, half a spoonful of ground cumin and a quarter
spoonful of black pepper powder to this recipe and mix well on a low flame and
fry the chicken for another seven minutes. Now finally add a spoon of special
meat spices to this dish.
Step
4:
Add
one kg of chopped apple gourds in the meat and mix well. Now add half a cup of
water to this recipe, cover the cooking pan with a lid and let it cook for
fifteen minutes on low flame. After fifteen minutes, remove the lid from the
cooking pan and slowly mix the meat with the help of a large spoon. Now our
Apple Gourd recipe is well done. So take it out of the cooking pan and put it
in a spacious vessel for the final look and serve it to the guests and friends.
